This will be a casual gathering where we can get to know each other and discuss the upcoming chapter events and catch up with each other. Don't feel like making calls? There are plenty of opportunities to work on data entry as well! Bring a laptop if you can. No worries if you don't have one — just let us know in advance and we can accommodate.

In the first hour, we'll check in on our current opportunities to support organized labor, plan trainings and community events, and build out the know-how and skills sharing for union siblings to tackle their issues. The second hour will be a sort of "office hours" where anyone who has questions about labor organizing can pop in and ask.

The Milwaukee DSA Socialists Beyond Borders Working Group invites people of the global majority (BIPOC, first generation, immigrants) to share your favorite meal at our cultural potluck, starting at 5:30 p.m. We will share our dishes, our lived experiences, and what radicalized us. !Si se puede!
After the potluck, we'll join the Education Committee for DSA Movie Night at 7:30! This month, we will be watching "Let the Fire Burn," a 2013 documentary film about the events leading up to and surrounding a 1985 stand-off between the black liberation group MOVE and the Philadelphia Police Department.
