Come join the Power to the People campaign as we reach out to our neighbors and collect petition signatures! The Power to the People campaign is calling on the City of Milwaukee to replace We Energies with a municipal or cooperative utility. It's time for public ownership of public utilities!

Socialist Book Club is a monthly reading group that aims to offer readings on a variety of issues, ranging from historical classics to modern developments, from labor struggle to international solidarity. We encourage reading ahead and coming prepared to participate in discussion. Efforts will be made to provide copies to loan from the chapter library or to provide digital copies at request.

Come study a foundational text of leftist political philosophy, Marx's Das Kapital, in a relaxed and social environment! Do the reading if you can, or just skim the SparkNotes, watch a video, or whatever medium works for you to come and discuss over a beer.

This week we will set the stage by discussing some of the background, purpose, and contextual details of why Marx wrote this, and start to cover Chapter 1.

A very chill hangout for Milwaukee DSA parents at the Milwaukee DSA HQ. We'll drink coffee and complain about our kids as they entertain each other. Babies will be passed to the least tired set of arms. Coffee, tea, and toys for the tater tots to amuse themselves are provided. For parents or people who might one day be parents.
